If you are on Sage Line 100 or Sage MMS, it is now time to upgrade your software to Sage 200 for the new features and functions.  There will be a minimal software charge depending if you have been paying your Sage Cover.

At the end of December 2007, Sage released the new Sage 200 Suite V5.0 product.  This release now includes the following additional modules;

• Wholesale & Retail

  • View a video on the company South to South who has just implemented the Wholesale & Retail Module.

• Manufacturing

  • View a video on the company Bushell and Meadows who has just implemented the Manufacturing Module.

The following are the modules that were released in V4.0 & V4.1 of Sage 200 during 2007.

• CRM

• Commercials

• Bill of Materials

• Project Accounting

• Project Accounting - Web Time and Expenses (WTE)

Backups:

• Don't forget to to take a backup of all of your data on a regular basis;

  Keep some of these copies in an off-site location, in case your building is burnt down, or your computer becomes unusable.

• Other than the DATA (which must be backed up at least once a day), all of the other information can be backed up when it is changed or modified.

  • All of your data.

  • Any forms or reports you have made changes to.

  • Your basic Sage program directories, as this can also contain valuable information that may change.
